SAN DIEGO, CA — November 22, 2022

Challenger is pleased to announce the launch of its Fornite offering, adding to its esports solution that enable gamers to compete in peer-to-peer cash contests in battle royale gaming. With the addition of Fortnite to Challenger’s lineup, the company further expands its mission to provide an accessible solution for casual gamers (18+ or 21+ where applicable) of all skill sets and experience levels to add cash-based incentives to their favorite online games and enhance friendly competition amongst the gaming community.

“Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world with over 2 million players online everyday, and we are excited to support their gamers.” said Chris Slovak, CEO of Challenger. “Now Fortnite players can add a bit more excitement to their battle royale gameplay by adding cash competitive play”.

With this release, Challenger is expanding upon the first-ever cross-lobby gameplay option, which allows gamers to compete for cash against each other and compete in the same game mode and settings but with different start times.

“Not only are we launching support for Fortnite, but we have expanded our cross-lobby options with two new modes, Kill Race Time Limit and Kill Race Kill Limit contest types. Timed Kill Races are a new take on our current Kill Race mode, with the change that instead of the number of kills at the end of a match each game now has a fixed time to play. This really amplifies the need to drop in hot on the map and really gets the adrenaline flowing.” said Chris Andres, COO of Challenger. “In Last Gamer Standing your rank at the end of each match is compared and the player with the best placement wins. We think gamers are going to love these new modes.“

Users with Fortnite already installed on their PC (free to download athttps://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/download) can participate in Challenger’s battle royale cash competitions by downloading the Challenger app and creating a free account. Users would then select Fortnite, pick their gameplay format, choose kill race, set the kill limit and the dollar amount they want to place before letting the battle begin!

To date, Challenger supports cash wagering for Counterstrike: Global Offensive, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Fortnite and Free Play gaming for League of Legends, Apex Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Rogue Company, and Valorant.
